What drew President Obama to Buffalo and Syracuse in the summer of 2013? The answer, at least in part, was the pioneering work of Say Yes to Education, the NYC-based nonprofit that makes it possible for every public school graduate in those two cities (and soon, perhaps, in other cities too) to attend an in-state public university tuition-free. Depending on family income, those students may also be eligible for a tuition-free education at the more than 60 private colleges and universities in the growing Say Yes Higher Education Compact. Learn how one organization in our own state is becoming a model in transforming education.
